Designed with viewability in mind, SIMTEK Modular’s window panel option incorporates a 3’ wide x 4’ high opening, cut 6” from the top, right and left sides of the panel. Window panels can be ordered “blank” (a ‘window’ without material or a covering – an ‘open window’), or with the optional plexiglass pane.
  • DOOR PANEL: A panel that comes prepared with a cut out, ready to receive any style of standard 30” door. SimTek Modular can supply and install the actual door for you, or you can choose to pick a door up from your local hardware store and install it yourself.

SimTek Modular Features Break-Down

MODULAR

That’s the key word. There’s a reason “Modular” is in our company title. Our panels are easily taken-down and placed in storage, in the event that you need the space for something else. Simply deconstruct the panels and brackets, stacking each panel to make a pile. Without consuming too much storage space, SimTek Modular’s shoot house components are easily stashed away, or taken out and set back up. Our shoot house kits include fully interchangeable parts for numerous training opportunities.

DIVERSE VARIETY

What we named our “Hot House” panels, also known as Modular House or Shoot House panels, are composed of regular CDX (the most common material used in the manufacturing of shoot house panels), ABX, Pressure Treated and Fire Rated materials. We are committed to meeting the needs of all our customers, so we offer a variety of panel material options. If you have another need or special request, please contact us and we can discuss a custom-made order!

PAINT

Each type of panel we offer can be painted; this process adds both a unique aesthetic to your shoot house, as well as increasing the longevity of the panels. If you ever need to touch up the paint on your shoot house panels, a small commercial airless sprayer does a fantastic job and leaves the surface looking brand new. SimTek Modular will paint your panels for you, using one layer of primer and one layer of EXTERIOR latex paint. We use exterior paint because it’s significantly harder than interior paint, therefore more durable in withstanding outside elements in addition to wear and tear tactical training may impose. Additionally, exterior paint can be washed clean very easily without causing damage to the base paint itself – which is particularly useful if you ever decide to use paint balls in your shoot house.

WEIGHT

SimTek Panels are Durable and Lightweight?! Yes – you heard that right! Our team of professional engineers developed our collection of panel options, all of which are incredibly durable and comparatively lightweight – another feature of SimTek Modular that ensures layout changes to your shoot house are quick and convenient. Our shoot house panels weight approx. 95 lbs each – a significantly lighter number compared to alternative options. Panels are very easily rearranged, set up and taken down with just two people. We stack our panels and ship them in increments of 26 panels per pallet – which we’ve found to be the perfect height and weight for a small trailer to carry one pallet of panels. If you’re using a flatbed semi truck to move your shoot house components, you’ll be able to load and carry 8-10 pallets of 26 panels!

UNPARALLELED STRENGTH

SimTek Modular has perfected the art of engineering exceptionally strong, surprisingly lightweight, shoot house panels. Our combination of industrial-strength brackets and reinforced panels provide users with an unmatched level of durability and sustainability – built to withstand 15+ years of use in repeated force-on-force training scenarios. The truth is – all too often, shoot house materials are way too heavy to move and reconfigure, or simply too flimsy to last. Many require an anchor system to be put in place, or deliver a “bouncy house” effect that’s lightyears away from a realistic simulation for professional tactical training. SimTek Modular offers the benefits of both mobility and strength, so your teams can get the closest experience to real-life scenarios by training in an optimal environment.

HIGHEST QUALITY

At SimTek Modular, our customers come first. That means taking the extra time to ensure each and every panel is perfectly square and completely free of any flaws – exceeding customer’s expectations is what we aim for.

Real-Life Layouts & Configurations

Through years of precise testing, SimTek Modular has perfected the art of modular shoot house kits. Each component is carefully designed and engineered using the highest-quality materials that are both durable and long-lasting. SimTek Modular’s configurable shoot house set-ups provide the most realistic atmosphere possible for both training, and recreational use.

  • Real-Life Training Set-Ups: SimTek Modular utilizes wall panels that mimic realistic environments, which can be easily and quickly reassembled into nearly every configuration you could think of. It’s easy to adjust the size of your room, or rooms, depending on the number of people participating in any given training. Various room types, including shape and size, can be made to meet all of your needs.
  • Multi-Level Shoot Houses: If you’re interested in configuring a shoot house with multiple levels, look no further! You can use our adaptable shoot house kits to create a shoot house with several floors for sniper practice, balcony target shooting, stairway clearance, and much more.
  • Adjustable Points-of-Entry: Entry points into various rooms are adjustable, from left wall to center entry, to right wall, configurations provide an enhanced entryway training experience.
  • Customizable Rooms: Thanks to SimTek Modular’s one-of-a-kind connector brackets, rooms can be configured without compromising dimensions. The ability to quickly change the paths that lead through your shoot house with ease while maintaining SDZ (Surface Danger Zone).

From One-Room to a Village: Sometimes it “takes a village”, and other times, a single rearrangeable room is all that’s needed. SimTek Modular is dedicated to ensuring that every customer is equipped with exactly what they need, and not what they don’t. Add additional panels and/or brackets to your kit for even more layout options – shoot house villages provide the appropriate amount of space for advanced training scenarios, such as simultaneous urban training.
